As the sun lingers high and the earth hums with life, we beckon you to join us for this year’s Summer Gathering located on an island in the heart of The Netherlands.

 
 

On the night of July 10th, the full moon will rise in luminous splendor, casting its silver light over our circle. Beneath its radiant glow, we shall gather to honor the rhythms of the season, weaving together rituals of joy, renewal, and connection. Let the moonlight awaken your spirit and guide us as we dance beneath the stars, sharing stories, laughter, and the magic that lives within us all.

Whether this is your first journey into the faerie fold or you are a seasoned veteran of these enchanted paths, the circle opens wide to embrace you. Come as you are—beaming with the energy of summer, seeking solace in community, or yearning to kindle the fires of creativity and wonder.

The rhythm of the earth calls, the moonlight awaits, and the magic of summer beckons us to come together in harmony and light. Will you heed the call and step into the enchantment?

The circle is ready. All it needs is you.

Taking place within the summery waters of De Kluut, this enchanting place is nestled amongst lowlands, with birds serenading, and an abundance of delicious food to nourish both body and spirit.

Situated off the shore of Harderwijk, it is centrally located within The Netherlands and is easily accessible by public transport. The island is accessible via a ferry that runs from Flevostrand.

  • Getting There

    De Kluut is located in the lake between the provinces Gelderland and Flevoland. It is reached by ferry that runs from Flevostrand.

    From Amsterdam Central Station, it takes a little over 1.5 hours to get there via public transport. If you’re travelling by car, there are also parking spaces in the nearby yacht harbour.

  • Length of Stay

    The gathering lasts for 8 nights: 8th - 16th July 2025.

    In order to maintain a close communal spirit and to keep costs manageable, we will give priority to those who can stay the full length of the gathering, and only offer partial nightly stays if there is space available.

  • Contributions

    Contributions are typically 30 - 60 EUR per night, which includes food and accomodation. We also ask for a deposit of 50 EUR as part of your contribution to secure your spot and help us with the many upfront costs of this gathering.

    Please note that this amount is not a strict requirement, and in the spirit of NOTAFLOF, we welcome faeries of all walks of life and income levels.

 

The island

We have seclusion and privacy so we can be free in nature. The tents are pre-built between high trees, reed palms, dense thicket and some open spots with grass. You can take a nice walk around the island or relax on one of the beautiful nooks and hammocks to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Most of the tipis and yurts on the island have a stove or wood fireplace so you can keep warm at night.

The island also features a swimming area, hammocks and comfortable seating, a dedicated toilet block with hot showers, and an area with electrical outlets.

We have a dedicated kitchen and dining tent, along with a a communal lounge tent and a dedicated love temple.

What to expect?

This is a faerie gathering, so expect heart circles, connection, wanders into nature, non-talent shows, laughter, joy (and perhaps, sadness).

Anyone can run a workshop, put on a show, or propose amazing ideas. We form a beautiful and deep, intimate connection with one another. As faeries, we all help out with practicalities, such as cooking, cleaning and supporting one another.

We offer a capacity of 50 faeries to create a vibrant gathering with a communal spirit.

In the mystical realm of our island gathering, the allure of faerie companionship has always drawn more seekers than we have places to offer. To ensure fairness, we've crafted a lottery-based system, drawing faeries from the ether. We also offer a limited number of priority places for those who self-identify as the following: sexual and gender minorities, revered elders, vibrant souls of color, endurers of LGBTQIA+ discrimination, and those touched by recent conflict.

A quick note on personal, psychedelic exploration

At our upcoming gathering, we understand that some participants may choose to explore the use of psychedelic substances at a low to medium dose as part of their personal journey on a particular day in a group guided setting. We want to emphasise that while these experiences can be profound for some, they are by no means a requirement for participation. Our event is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive space for all attendees, regardless of their personal choices regarding substance usage.

For those who choose not to partake, rest assured that your presence and contributions are valued just as much as those who do. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants, and our team will be on hand to offer support and assistance as needed throughout the event.

Whether you choose to engage in psychedelic exploration or not, we invite you to join us in experiencing the magic and camaraderie of our gathering. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels respected, supported, and free to explore their own unique journey of self-discovery.

Please note that gathering funds are not used to cover the cost of any psychedelic substances, so if you would wish to participate, please bring your own.
